Sideways 20^th Festival: We’ll celebrate Sideways 20th anniversary at Hitching Post 2! There will be bites from Hitching Post 2, Buellton restaurants, Flying Goat Cellars and other local wineries, beer, distilleries and live music. 

5-9 pm
Sideways Screening and Tasting at Solvang Festival Theater: Sample a selection of wines, including Flying Goat Cellars, and heavy appetizers from local restaurants. Then, grab a seat in the theater for a panel discussion and screening of the iconic film Sideways. So far we have Virginia Madsen confirmed to attend.

We're celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the movie Sideways this year! When my Wingfield family visited me (Kate) during the movie frenzy, we ate at the iconic Hitching Post 2 Restaurant & Winery. Little did I know that I would eventually meet and marry Norman Yost and become co-owner of Flying Goat Cellars. Sideways launched Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir brands, such as Flying Goat Cellars, into a level of popularity before unprecedented. Thank you Sideways!
