2016 Rosé, Solomon Hills Vineyard, Santa Maria Valley AVA
This vintage of our Rosé is very French in style. It’s our tribute to the “Widow Clicquot,” who revolutionized Champagne production techniques 200 years ago. Likewise, Goat Bubbles Rosé launched the trend in Santa Barbara County sparkling wine in 2005. This sparkler is an elegant epicurean delight! Enjoy lemon peel and tangerine on the nose and subtle hints of pound cake on the mid palate. Pair with croque monsieur, grilled lingcod or rockfish, pork chops or creme brûlée. 240 cases produced; Pinot Noir clone 23. Wine Enthusiast 91 pts.

2012 Pinot Noir, Bien Nacido Vineyard, Santa Maria Valley AVA
Blackberries and plums dance on your nose and across your palate. Savory, spicy and dusty notes tempt you further. There are also hints of expresso. The wine keeps evolving in the glass beckoning yet another sip. Stylistically, this is much more an Old World wine, similar to Burgundy, which the clone lends itself to. Pair with lamb chops and reduction sauce, smoked tri-tip and Lompoc pinquitos beans or mincemeat pie. 158 cases produced; Pinot Noir clone 13 (Martini). Wine Enthusiast 93 pts.
