R.I.P. Cooper, "The Pinot Puppy"
Sadly, our beloved Cooper passed away a few weeks ago of natural causes. He had been a bright light in our lives for almost 13 years. We adopted him at 5 weeks due to the urgency of an unwanted litter. His early imprinting with us created a unique bond. A news article dubbed him "The Pinot Puppy" and it stuck throughout his life. Thank you all for sharing your love with Cooper. He enjoyed endless hours of fetching at the Tasting Room. He will be missed.

Kate and Norm,
Sending love and hugs from Indiana. The pain of losing your special pup Cooper is so darn difficult. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.

We loved Cooper like he was one of our own dog pack. So much personality in that chocolate fur body. Tears were shed in our house as Steve and I remember the numerous times Cooper stayed – sulking the whole time because he wanted to be with you two!
I was always the treats grandma to him and loved spoiling him since he was a puppy.Steve & Trish Lewis on
This email brought tears to my eyes. Last time we were saw Cooper was when a blind friend was with us, who is very afraid of dogs but he and Cooper got on just fine😢. He was wonderful. Cooper will be missed. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. ❤️

Oh man, so sorry to hear this. Dianne and I had our own family of four leggeds, and know how hard it is to lose them. We have fond memories of ENDLESSLY throwing the ball when we visited the winery. A glass shall be raised to him tonight. Best thoughts to both of you.

We only met him the handful of times we dropped in from Tx to enjoy such good sparkling wine, but it was evident he was a sweetheart! RIP, Cooper. Hugs to both of you.

Dear Kate and Norm,
I’m just in tears reading this. Whenever we stopped at your tasting room we always looked forward to seeing Cooper. He was just a breath of fresh air, and a warm and welcoming presence. They always bring such joy to their human partners. He will be missed.
