MAKE PLANS NOW FOR THE HOTTEST WINE EVENT ON THE CENTRAL COAST!

August 17th - 20th visit Sta. Rita Hills wineries and tasting rooms for four days of festivities. Located between Lompoc and Buellton, The Sta. Rita Hills is a prestigious wine growing region for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other cool climate wine grape varieties. All events have limited ticket sales to ensure an intimate food and wine experience.

The Combo Weekend package includes the Thursday night Barn Party, the Friday and Saturday morning seminars, the La Paulee Dinner on Friday night honoring Ken Brown as our Vintner of the Year, the Grand Tasting at La Purisima Mission featuring 40 wineries, and local chefs on Saturday evening, plus a complimentary weekend Passport to visit our tasting rooms.

Flying Goat is participating in most events, including "Sparkling Wines From Sta. Rita Hills" seminar. The world of sparkling wine is captivating and diverse, offering a variety of styles and production methods. In this wine panel, we will explore four types of bubble creation in wine: Champagne style, Natural Carbonation, Forced Carbonation, and Piquet-style carbonation. Each style possesses its unique characteristics and techniques, contributing to the enchanting world of effervescent wines. Participating wineries: Ampelos, Barden, Brewer Clifton, Camins 2 Dreams, Flying Goat Cellars, Kessler-Haak, Lompoc Wine Factory, Loubud, Sanford Winery.
