Winemaker Norm  Yost's been participating in WOPN since its inception in 2001. In 2014, Norm was WOPN Board President and relocated the popular event from Shell Beach to Santa Barbara, long before the Bacara was owned by The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara. During the 3-day event in 2014, a storm pounded the Central Coast and even took out much of the Gaviota pier. The Bacara resort is spectacular and the event always attracts participants from around the world.
