Tasting Notes
The deep ruby color reveals the attitude of this full-bodied wine showing dense, dark aromas and flavors. Enjoy cola, caramel, coffee and bittersweet chocolate on the nose. Blackberry, raspberry, tart cherry and other dark fruit unfold on the palate.

Winemaker Notes
This wine was made just for our Philosophers Club members to enjoy during the holiday season, or any special occasion, with friends and family. The grapes were picked at 22.5 Brix and the wine was barrel aged in French oak for twenty months. This wine is one of a kind in our portfolio! If opening this wine during 2016 or 2017, please decant for several hours. Otherwise, lay this big boy down to let it mature.
