In the Spirit of Giving
Flying Goat Cellars and Return to Freedom have collaborated to benefit the wild horses and burros at Return to Freedom’s sanctuary! 40% of each bottle purchased is donated to RTF.
Flying Goat Cellars created this special bottling of Pinot Noir for Return to Freedom. This wine was personally selected by winemaker Norm Yost to be used for this collaboration with RTF. The wine chosen for this bottling is a blend of 2021 Pinot Noir from the Rio Vista Vineyard and Allan Hancock College Vineyard, both located in Santa Barbara County. Rio Vista is one of the older vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA and has developed a reputation for producing outstanding wines with beautiful vibrant dark fruit flavors and great aging potential. Allan Hancock College Vineyard is student run at the college and already received accolades. We're proud to support the efforts of RTF. 40% of each bottle purchased is donated to RTF.
A few years ago, we launched the original special label 2019 Pinot Noir Celebrate Freedom featuring the infamous Spirit. 40% of each bottle purchased was donated to RTF. On Giving Tuesday 2022 we cut a check for $3,115.50. We are proud to continue to support this worthy cause. We invite you to participate in a meaningful purchase by ordering Celebrate Freedom for your own pleasure.
